Asus Zenbook Pro UX501 features i7 haswell and Nvidia 960M GPU

Asus has launched a new ultrabook called Zenbook Pro UX501 that appears to be the successor to the currently available Zenbook NX500. In fact some will say that UX501 has same specifications as the Asus G501 and while they are right to some extent, the design of two laptops are totally different.

Specs include Intel Core i7 4720HQ 2.6 GHz processor with 4GB of GDDR5 memory, choice of 128, 256 or 512 GB solid state drives or 1TB traditional mechanical hard disk drives and a big 15.6 inch IPS 4k display. The display has touchpanel and packs 3840 x 2160 pixels. The graphics as the apothetech says are managed by Nvidia GeForce GTX 960m graphics card.

Other Asus Zenbook Pro UX501 specifications include wireless LAN, Bluetooth, 3x USB 2.0 ports, HDMI, display port with SD card reader. Asus Zenbook Pro UX501 is already on sale for 1820 euro in Europe.
