Asus U36Jc-NYC2 is an amazing notebook for those who are in the market for a full fledged notebook that does not burns a hole in their wallet. Powered by 1.5 year old Core i5 480M processor, the U36Jc-NYC2 is not the most powerful notebook by a mile, but is capable enough to handles basic tasks like web browsing, Photoshop and some basic video editing. Core i5 480M Benchmark, Review

The processor runs at 2.6GHz clock speed and automatically overclocks itself to 2.9GHz under turbo mode. It comes with 3MB L3 cache and 2 cores that are capable of handling 4 threads at a time. TDP is 35 watts, which is a normal for a full voltage processor. Performance wise, it is at par with the new Core i3 2330m. 480M got 6100 in the PCMark Vantage test.
