Until now, its specs were kept secret, but yesterday, we were able to spend few minutes with the actual notebook and were able to check out its specs.
We have come to know that the UX31 comes with an Intel Core i7 2637M processor and it comes with 4GB of DDR3 RAM. For storage, you get a sandisk-branded 128GB solid state drive but we are sure Asus will be offering it in other capacities as well.
The screen of the Asus UX31 packs 1600 x 900 pixel resolution which is higher than that its competitor – the 2011 Macbook Air that sports 1440 x 900 pixels. It will come with an internal Lithium Polymer battery that is claimed to yield up to 7 hours of battery life. Other specs include USB 3.0 port, a 2.0 port, headphone jack and a multi card reader.
There is no VGA port on the unit and instead, you get a micro HDMI port for outputting the screen. Stay tuned for full review.
