AMD MV-40 Review, Passmark
AMD Neo MV-40 is a popular single core processor that is used in the Asus 1201T notebook. It runs at 1.6GHz clock speed and comes with 512 KB of L2 cache. TDP is pretty low – 15 watts but is three times more than the Atom processors
Even compared to the just released Atom N2800, it consumes double the power. AMD later released AMD K345 which consumed much less power. The processor, as said before has 1 core that can handle 1 thread at a time.
That said, it is faster than the AMD C50 performance wise. AMD MV 40 scored 1917 in the PCmark Vantage test. On the other hand, AMD K345 got 2409 and C50 got 1428 in the same test. Passmark score of MV-40 is 386.
