The Intel Core i5 3210M is a dual core processor that is based on the Ivy Bridge architecture. It has full hyper threading support and can handle up to 8 threads at the same time. The 3210M CPU runs at 2.5GHz clock speed and can automatically overclock to 3.1GHz under turbo mode. The processor has a TDP of 35 watts.
Since the CPU is manufactured using 22nm process, the i5 3210m is very efficient, both in terms of performance and battery life. In the PCMark Vantage benchmark test, it got 6445 (same as core i5 2430m processor) which is higher than i5 2520m that scored 5892 in the same test.

The just released ULV Core i5 3317U processor got 6390 in PCMark Vantage, a tiny bit lower than the i5 2430m. Just for the sake of comparison, we have also compared it with the Atom N2600 single core processor.
