Core i7 3610QM Review

There has been a lot of hype that surrounded Ivy Bridge processors as it introduced 22nm chipsets. Today, I am taking a look at the Lavie L LL750 notebook that comes with Core i7 3610QM processor and Intel HD 4000 graphics. It runs at 2.3GHz clock speed and overclocks to 3.3GHz under turbo mode. Read my review to find more about it. This processor is currently being offered in MSI GT70, Lenovo Y580 and Asus N56VZ RB71 notebooks.

Core i7 3610QM Review

The Core i7 3610QM has a TDP of 45 watts and can handle 8 threads with its 4 cores. It has a massive 6MB L3 cache. In the PCMark Vantage 64 bit and PCMark 7 benchmark test, it scored 8953 and 2876 respectively. As you can see, it completely decimated the Core i5 3360m processor.
