The Intel Core i7 3520M processor is a very fast full voltage processor based on the Ivy Bridge architecture. The i7 3520M features hyperthreading technology that allows it to handle upto 4 threads with its two cores. The processor runs at 2.9GHz clock speed that automatically overclocks to 3.6GHz under turbo boost mode.
Intel Core i7 3920xm benchmark review
This Core i7 processor is being used in many business notebooks like Sony Vaio SV series and the newly launched Toshiba Tecra R940 business notebooks. It has a TDP of 35 watts and is made using 22nm manufacturing technology. Here are its benchmark results:
1) In PCMark Vantage done on a Sony Vaio SV notebook (with Nvidia 640M LE GPU), it got 14496 score.
2) In Cinebench R10, it got 4892 in the single 32bit rendering test
