Sony has unleashed a tabletop called Tap 21 at the IFA 2013. It runs Windows 8 operating system and packs a massive 21.5 inch display. Screen resolution, as expected is full HD and is IPS type so the colors really pop up and viewing angles are excellent. Processor options include Intel Core i7 or Core i5 haswell processors and if you love speed, you can go for the SSD or hybrid drive configurations.
Of course, at 21.5”, the Sony Tap 21 is far from portable, but Sony is adamant to sell a carry bag with it. The starting model of Tap 21 is priced at 880 dollars – not so expensive for a such a unique gadget. I wonder if they will follow up with a Tap 24 sometime soon as I have an old 18.4 inch 1080p TV in my bedroom and it is just too small. Somewhere around 24-34 I was thinking.
