Toshiba has released a series of new Windows 8 notebooks in US and European market, but the one that excites us the most is the C870 that has a 17.3 inch screen with 1600 x 900 pixel resolution. Its most expensive model, the Satellite C870-18C features Intel Core i5 3210m processor, 4GB RAM, 500GB HDD, AMD Radeon HD 7610M GPU, Bluetooth 4.0, 802.11n Wi-Fi – all that for 750 dollars/ Euros.
If those specs are too much for you, you can go for the 500 Euros mode, C870D-11F that uses AMD E1 1200 dual core CPU, 4GB RAM and 320GB HDD. Rest of the specs are same as the previous model. All C870 models come loaded with the new Windows 8 operating system. Check out AMD E2 1800 benchmark.
Also new is the Toshiba C855-1WZ that has same specs as the Toshiba C870-18C but features a 15.6 inch screen with 1366 x 768 pixel resolution. Complete C855 1WZ specs – 15.6 inch screen, 1366 x 768 pixel resolution, Intel Core i5 3210m, 500-gigabyte hard drive, 8GB of RAM, and the Radeon HD 7610M, DVD Super Multi drive, a 1-megapixel webcam, Wi-Fi b / g / n and Bluetooth 4.0.
